Keeping with the green theme, you can learn all about moss in a fabulous drop-in workshop at Denton West End Library on Thursday 30 May 11am-3pm. Our resident botanist will lead a creative session felting small moss pods before heading out on a short foraging walk. Each session starts on the hour, with the walk talking place on the half hour.
Alternatively, there are artist-led 'Make, Do and Play' craft sessions at Portland Basin Museum, Ashton, with artist Caroline Coates. All of them take place from 11am to 3pm and cost £1.35 per child. Again, there’s no need to book, just drop in.
