In this captivating session, Brian will share the stories of 20 fascinating figures from Manchester’s rich past, offering a vivid glimpse into the lives and legacies that shaped the region. Brian Groom is a leading expert on British regional and national affairs, with an illustrious career at the Financial Times, where he served as assistant editor.

After the talk there will be tea, coffee, and biscuits and the opportunity to talk to the speaker.
