Aged 16-24? Interested in Technical Theatre?

In partnership with Jigsaw Support, the Royal Exchange Theatre is running a 6 week course in Technical Theatre for 16-24 year olds who live in Tameside and aren't in Education, Employment or Training of have an EHCP.

On this course, you'll learn about the basics of technical theatre and get to see a show at the Royal Exchange Theatre! In addition to attending one of the courses, you will be allocated a Motiv8 keyworker who will provide bespoke 1-to-1 support to reduce barriers to employment.

This course will run every Thursday from 3-5pm for a total of 6 weeks. You must be able to attend every session.
The venue is The Vale, Unit 2 Vale Mill, Off Micklehurst Road, Mossley, OL5 9JL.

10 young people will learn technical and production skills used in the creative industries, and gain a certificate in First Aid. Course elements will include lighting, sound, stage management and set building as well as practical skills development and shadowing opportunities at RET.
