What's Involved?

Let the museum come to you and get hands on with history at your own pace. Use this curated box of handling objects to spark conversations about seaside attractions, activities and treats as well as landscape features, weather and seasons.

Step through sensory, mindful self-care techniques with the whole class. Categorise and match artefacts and archive photos to spark group discussions and curious questions. The accompanying mini journal is a space for reflecting and recording personal responses without needing to share.

An enquiry-based, hands-on resource to help your class explore core elements of KS1 & 2 PSHE. Cover sensitive subjects safely using distance techniques afforded by a rich selection of museum objects and archive images spanning over a century.
