Big names, big laughs as the Comedy Weekender returns to Stalybridge
Get ready for a weekend full of laughter as the Stalybridge Comedy Weekender returns – and it’s back bigger than ever.
Taking place at Victoria Market Hall, this two-night comedy spectacular will bring a top-class line-up of UK comedians right to the heart of Stalybridge. Following a hugely successful debut last year, the Weekender is fast becoming a must-see event in the town’s cultural calendar.
Audiences can look forward to an impressive mix of household names, award-winners and TV favourites, with headline acts including The Chase star Paul Sinha and Taskmaster favourite Lucy Beaumont. Across the Friday and Saturday nights, each show will feature four acts hosted by experienced MCs, promising an evening packed with laughs from start to finish.
Each evening features four top actshosted by some of the UK’s most exciting and in-demand MCs:
· Friday night (17 July) will be hosted by Danny McLoughlin,with Scott Bennett, Justin Moorhouse and The Chase star Paul Sinha headlining anight packed with proven crowd-pleasers.
· Saturday (18 July) night sees Phil Ellis host, with Amy Gledhill, Josh Pugh and Taskmaster favourite Lucy Beaumont closing the weekend with her brilliantly offbeat style.
The event is part of the continued revival of Victoria Market Hall as a vibrant events venue, bringing high-quality live entertainment to Stalybridge and attracting visitors from across the region. With a growing programme of comedy, music and cultural events, the venue is quickly establishing itself as a key destination for a great night out.
With just 250 seats available each night, tickets are expected to sell quickly. Priced at £20, the shows offer fantastic value for a full evening of entertainment, with doors opening at 7.30pm and performances starting at 8.15pm.
