An exhibition of artworks exploring the varied landscape sand urban scenes of Tameside to mark the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Metropolitan Borough of Tameside. From rolling hills and windswept moorland, to bustling markets and industrial panoramas, the towns and countryside of Tameside have inspired many generations. The exhibition explores how artists have depicted the area from Victorian times to the present day, and includes work by local born artists Harry Rutherford and Simeon Stafford.
