Join us for Threads & Throttle, a free celebration of classic cars, vintage motorcycles, music and community beside the historic Weaving Shed at Woodend Mill. Enjoy great food from the BBQ, refreshments throughout the day and the chance to explore one of Mossley's most exciting heritage restoration projects.
By reserving your free ticket, you'll help us plan the event and have the opportunity to make a voluntary contribution towards bringing the Weaving Shed back to life for future generations.

Who are THREAD & BUTTER COLLECTIVE CIC
We are a group of 13 studio holders based at Woodend Mill, we formed the Community Interest Company to raise awareness and funds to restore a Grade II Weaving Shed at Woodend Mill, Mossley and open it as an arts, culture and events space for the community
What else will be happening on the day?
We will have a BBQ and refreshments for visitors to buy and if the weather is nice the Ice Cream bike may make an appearance
What cars will be at the event?
A range of classic and vintage cars will be on show, you will be able to enjoy taking to the owners about the restoration and journey some of the vehicles have taken and enjoy a relaxing day by the bank of the River Tame
Do I need a ticket?
No, you do not need a ticket as admission is free on the day. However, it would be very helpful to us if you got your free ticket using the link provided so we can have an idea of potential visitor numbers.
What is Woodend Mill, Mossley?
Woodend Mill, Mossley is a Grade II listed mill, once part of the famous textile trade that dominated the region. It is a significant heritage site and currently home to many independent artists and creative practices and independent businesses.
