Join Mossley based artist Sarah Hardacre for a creative and inspiring collage workshop inside her studio at Woodend Mill, Mossley, the space where she develops her own collage and printmaking practice.
After a brief introduction to Sarah’s work and the history of collage, you’ll dive straight into making — cutting, layering, and experimenting with images to create your own unique pieces. There’ll be plenty of papers, magazines, books, and reference materials to spark ideas, and by the end, you’ll leave with original collages ready to frame and display.
Sarah’s work explores women’s experiences in urban spaces and is held in major collections worldwide, including the British Museum. Her workshops combine playful creativity with insight into the art and history of collage bringing inspiration to this immersive workshop.
