Get ready for a summer of fun and laughter as Tameside Cultural Services presents 'Theatre in the Park' - with an incredible line up of captivating performances. With live shows every week in August there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Tickets are free but limited, so make sure you book your place.
Please note that second release tickets will be released one week prior to the event, this is to try to reduce the large number of drop outs we've had in previous years.
The Giant Balloon Show - Dizzy O'Dare
Prepare for laughter and awe at The Giant Balloon Show! Experience giant balloon sculptures, high-energy comic performances, and, of course, the all-important giant balloon. Take everything you know about balloons; twist that into a theatrical experience, add an award winning clown and an 80’s soundtrack and you have The Giant Balloon Show! Suitable for all ages, with lots of audience participation, you can catch the performances at King George V Playing Fields on Tuesday, 15th August, and at Hollingworth Primary School on Wednesday, 16th August.

Falconry Dismay - Dizzy O'Dare
Be mesmerized by the majesty of falconry in Falconry Dismay. Witness the breathtaking flying displays of three majestic birds of prey, guided by expert handler Kevin Tickle. No actual birds will be used so prepare for belly laughs, wild antics, and educational? insights into the world of falconry. Suitable for all ages, the performances will take place at Ryecroft Hall Park on Thursday, 24th August.

The Ugly Ducking - Folksy Theatre
Join Folksy Theatre for a heart warming adaptation of The Ugly Ducking. Follow the journey of a duckling who sets out to find his place in the world, overcoming obstacles and discovering true happiness. With bold characters, live music, puppetry, and audience interaction, this open-air family musical is an experience not to be missed. Suitable for children aged 3 and above the performances will beheld at Mossley Park (MOAT) on Wednesday, 30 August.
