The magical Northern Lights Winter Parade is back on Saturday 15 November, marking the start of Tameside’s festive celebrations.
The spectacular yearly event will take place in Stalybridge, offering a FREE evening of sparkling culture and celebration, combining unforgettable lantern displays and vibrant performances to create an electric atmosphere!
The parade will take place from 5pm-6pm.
This event will be taking place during a festive Stalybridge Street Fest (4-8pm).
The Artisan Markets will also be commencing the Christmas celebrations from 11am.
Tameside Council, alongside creative winter parade partners Global Grooves, Cabasa and No Eyed Theatre will collaborate with local creative organisations, community groups and volunteers and together will host an unforgettable evening to start the countdown to Christmas.
Creations made in workshops will be used to line the route and light the way for the parade. The event will conclude with the switching on of Stalybridge’s Christmas tree lights.
As always, the evening will also include local talent, dancers, and artists to help create a glowing spectacle that captures the spirit of the season. This year the parade will also be supported by festive themed Stalybridge Street Fest!
